Main Objectives

6G-TERAFIT will investigate information-theoretical performance limits and concrete design principles for radio-interface (waveform and modulation) considering channel characteristics (high directional, high path loss, hardware impairments etc.) of THz bands and various constraints (distance, hardware, energy efficiency and size), and efficient error controlling mechanism (coding and retransmission).

In detail, 6G-TERAFIT will aim to:

  • analyze performance limits of THz channel/networks, develop efficient waveform and error control mechanism;
  • design and develop new Multiple Access, Network Deployment to support ubiquitous access for THz mobile networks;
  • conduct experimentation of 6G-TERAFIT solutions under real practical conditions.
